Haircut

What do you think?

I don't like it.

I am going back Wednesday night to get it fixed. I'm torn, because fixing = going shorter, which is what I really wanted in the first place (I let myself be led astray with this half-way shorter version), and if I don't like that, then it's that much longer until it grows out. Maybe I should just leave it alone and go back to longer? I just don't feel cute the way it is now, and it's important to at least feel cute.

I don't blame Mary. She's fabulous. It was a communication issue. Plus, we were only our 2nd date, how could I expect her to know what I wanted? I miss Liz.

  1. I think it looks really cute, but I can understand about not getting what you wanted. For years I couldn't find a stylist who would go short enough for me. My current one has no problems though.

Maybe shorter and a little blunter? Your hair is really pretty, and seems to be the perfect texture for a bob.

  2. Wow! How short are you going to go? Full-on Frosh Year? Will there be steps?!

  3. Thanks, y'all. Now that I've washed it is doing something VERY funky in back, flipping out in some sort of cowlick fashion, so I definitely have to go shorter. ZantiMissKnit, wish I cuold have cute little bangs like you, but I don't think they'd work with my short forehead.

Mirandala, I think maybe yes (except not with the steps-- only Kelly could duplicate that look). If I can find my photos of my college hair, I might haul them along with me. Stay tuned!

  4. I like the change, Darcy. I would think you could do a pretty blunt style and even possibly bangs because you have such even features (damn you woman!).

  5. I like the hair. I'm leaving for a sixer.

  6. The style looks nice - and would probably look great shorter as well. I've always wanted hair that would do that, though ... we're never quite happy with our hair, are we?

  7. I think it's cute and you have great hair. The back is the only part I can see is a little wonky -- cowlicky, yes. And now we want to see the Full-on Frosh Year pix - bring 'em on!

  8. Nice hair! I like it as it is now. It reminds me of a haircut I saw on a certain Independence Day. Nice hair indeed.

  9. I love it! But I'm always in love with stripey shadey sassy straight hair (being a wild curled woman whose gray hair grows at right angles).

so did you change it? will you post follow up photos?

    also...you're very purty!

  10. I like it..go a little shorter though, that would make it was cuter. You'll probabaly have to straighten so you don't get the crazy flips. Get the straightner that is also a curler, it works wonders! Just whatever you do, don't go the "1 side longer" route, that cut looks ridiculous!!
